Pallant House Gallery
Work done
Vivid provided a fast track, high quality fit out to the new contemporary wing of the 18th century Pallant House Gallery. Although the scope of works tripled during the course of the programme, the Gallery was able to open its new wing on the date originally scheduled. Works were carried out in the reception, main gallery, bookshop, prints and drawing room, library and reading room, workshop, kitchen and restaurant.
A new curved ash reception desk was installed with ash wall panels and a stone feature wall erected with the names of Gallery contributors hand-carved into it. Special glass display cases, metal hanging rails for paintings and wooden alcoves were installed and bespoke loose furniture supplied.
