An existing hotel was extensively reconfigured and refurbished to create a new Hotel du Vin with 49 bedrooms and suites, bar, restaurant and spa.  Central to the vision of the designers were a feature staircase swirling down into a wine tasting area containing the first Laroche wine table in the country and the unique murals in the Grapes and Gain bar.  Some bedrooms featured bespoke walnut screens with integrated LCD panels that could be turned through 360 degrees.
