What happens when an English team enters a German venue?

Answer

Sorry this is not really about football, but classical music. You can turn over now if you like.

Wigmore Hall is London’s oldest and most elegant concert hall. Used for nothing but classical music concerts, it was built in 1901 by Bechstein, the German piano company. Unsurprisingly, support for the venue dropped off during the First World War and the hall changed hands, reopening in 1917.

We were involved in a much later refurbishment programme that helped restore the hall to its former glory. The refurbishment was completed as planned, just as well as it was re-opened by the Duke of Kent in 2005.
