Higher Education fit out specialist Vivid Interiors has been appointed to undertake the refurbishment of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) library.
Vivid started by successfully delivering two projects for SOAS – phase 1 of the Student Union Reception (SURE), and an extensive toilet refurbishment, commissioned after the existing main contractor had gone into receivership.
Vivid then secured two additional projects: SURE phase 2, which involves refurbishing the Student Union bar and associated spaces and, the jewel in SOAS’ crown, the “library transformation” project.
The first phase of the library transformation encompasses the full refurbishment of the ground and lower ground floors. Vivid has already completed the enabling works for the first phase to take place.
