Higher Education fit out specialist Vivid Interiors has successfully converted an old Facilities Management department into a café. Café Tierra has a seating capacity of 239 for students and visitors. The project included the refurbishment of a variety of food sections, a Costa Coffee, a full commercial kitchen with cold room, walk-in freezer, dry store, dish wash room, a staff changing area and offices.
New serveries and catering display equipment were also supplied and installed.
The challenging project took 11 weeks from initial conceptual designs to installation and involved detailed drawings, production and complex manufacture.
The works were completed in time for staff training and cooking trials.
