Wigmore Hall
Work done
This Grade II listed concert hall was refurbished and modernised. The basement restaurant and function room were fitted out with acoustic ceilings, sliding partitions, bar serveries, veneered wall panelling and timber flooring. A new lift was installed serving the basement and ground floors.
The cupola in the auditorium was restored and the glass roof modernised and soundproofed. New seating and bespoke carpets were installed.
A new air-conditioning system was introduced to the auditorium through the existing glass roof area; works also included new walkways and gantries to gain access for planned maintenance to the system.
