Project description

This was a complete refurbishment of existing function rooms and common parts.

Two new cloakroom facilities were installed in the lobby to match the existing joinery. The marble balustrade and handrail on the staircase leading up to the function rooms was replaced with bespoke cast iron.

Gold leaf finishes in the Ballroom were fully restored and new Palladium leaf applied in the entrance lobby. The walls in the Loggia were decorated with a limestone block effect.

The Carlyle Room underwent structural alterations that included the installation of over 30 steel beams. Solid masonry walls were opened up to form two new archways.

A dispense bar and mezzanine were created from an old storage area.
